About me
My work bridges policy and practice to deliver impact where it matters most—in San Diego County schools and communities. With a foundation in the classroom and a strong equity lens, I lead the California Reading & Literature Project, San Diego Region in improving literacy outcomes for multilingual learners, speakers of variety English, and historically underserved students—including Black and Indigenous youth. I design and scale professional learning that aligns with all California Standards, Frameworks, Guidance Documents, and the EL Roadmap in order to support district goals and reflect the lived experiences of educators and students.
