Utilizing the three levels of data, let’s look at what literacy data is available to support DA work by determining students’ current strengths, knowledge, skills, and understandings in reading, writing and speaking. Then, look at two potential ways of propelling student learning, Project CLEAR and Project ARISE.

The session will highlight the role of compliance improvement monitoring in upholding federal and state mandates while demonstrating how differentiated support can enhance program implementation and improve student outcomes. This session will design an indigenized space to learn and share strategies for improving Tribal-community responsive programming for Native American youth and families. Through interactive discussions and resource sharing, participants will explore effective practices that foster belongingness among Native youth and families, implement promising strategies to improve school attendance, and amplify youth agency and leadership within their communities. The session will feature insights from experienced practitioners, highlight successful initiatives, and provide actionable tools to support Native youth in culturally meaningful ways.
