About me
Susanne has over 25 years of experience in human services and education. She served as Administrator of the Maui County Drug Court; spent 11 years as Director of a non-profit child abuse prevention agency; and has worked as adjunct professor at the University of Southern California. Susanne has consulted with a wide array of stakeholder groups on substantial public issues within the education and social service arenas. Currently she is the McKinney Vento Homeless Liaison for the San Diego County Office of Education and provides support to the 43 school districts and numerous Charter schools serving over 22,000 children experiencing homelessness in San Diego County.
