Jennifer Currie is a coordinator at the San Diego County Office of Education and a proud ally of arts education. She has taught freshman composition courses at San Diego State University and middle and high school English with the Sweetwater Union High School District. In her current role at SDCOE, Jennifer co-leads the Teacher Leadership Academy, designs and delivers a wide range of professional learning for secondary teachers and literacy leaders across content areas, and provides assistance to school and district-level leaders to promote college and career readiness. Jennifer believes that, given the opportunity, students and staff alike have unlimited potential to learn and positively impact others in their communities and beyond.
